The Cedar Springs Area Chamber of Commerce (CSACoC) was reborn in June of 2012 to recreate commerce in Cedar Springs and it's surrounding area. In August of 2012 the CSACoC held it's first event (Community Day Celebration and Business Expo). Since the forming of the new chamber of commerce in 2012 the CSACoC now hosts 10 annual events in 2015. Check our event page for more details.
CORPORATE PURPOSES
The corporation is formed for the advancement of commercial, industrial, agricultural, civic, educational and the general interest of Cedar Springs and surrounding area; the promotion of the general welfare and prosperity of the Cedar Springs area; the promotion of cooperation in all matters of interest to the business, commercial, professional people and individuals of the Cedar Springs area; the creation and maintenance of the highest standards of business ethics; the stimulation of public sentiment to these ends.
This Chamber, in its activities, shall be non-partisan, non-sectional, and non-sectarian.
The corporation has not been formed for pecuniary profit or gain. No part of the income or profit of the corporation will inure to the benefit of officers or directors. However, the corporation shall be authorized and empowered to pay any reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in furtherance of the purposes set forth above.
The Cedar Springs Area Chamber of Commerce shall observe all local, state and federal laws which apply to a non-profit organization as defined in Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code.
